The Crex Meadows wildlife festival will be this Sunday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is a great opportunity to see thousands of Sandhill Cranes. They stage here before migration. Tours of the refuge will be offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The event is free and open.
