Hi everyone,
I spent the morning birding Olmsted and Dodge Counties. I was able to "pish
in" a single female WW Crossbill at Oxbow Park near the picnic area. I also
observed the 12 Redheads at Silver Lake that were reported earlier. There were
11 males and 1 female. The two Trumpeter Swans that have been hanging around
Silver Lake for some time were also present. I was also able to see Common
Redpolls and Pine Siskins in both rural Byron (Olmsted) and in the town of
Kasson (Dodge).

  Good birding!
