I observed a lone swan flying over the Lagoon Theater in Uptown, Minneapolis yesterday. I love seeing unusual birds in very urban environments. When I lived in Duluth I had the peasure of seeing a Lapland Longspur, Gray Jays, Glaucous Gull, Peregrine Falcon and a Barred Owl right in the downtown area. Is this swan in Minneapolis more likely a Trumpeter or Tundra?
