Hey folks, Finally saw the first Field Sparrow of the year yesterday. Still have Brown Creepers hanging around in the woodlots along with the singing Fox Sparrows. Lots of Wood Ducks looking for nest cavities in the woodlots, seemingly willing to take opportunities farther from water than I've ever known of them to in the southeast. I've never witnessed a Woodcock dance, so hopefully I'll be able to see one doing that at Kilen Woods this spring. Eric Harrold Lakefield, MN
