Sue Plankis just called 10 minutes ago to report seeing what may be close to 1000 Lapland Longspurs landing to feed in the fields SE of the intersection of Hwy 52 and Co. 46. (Maybe those of us stuck home doing chores will get lucky enough to have them stay overnight in this uninviting weather, so we can see them tomorrow!
