St. John's Arboretum Birding Morning w/ Bob Russell, 4 small groups had a low 
composite of 91 species on the SJU campus/woods/prairie.  Only ten warblers 
seen and all in few numbers.  Of note: 1-Blackburnian, few Tennessee, 
Orange-crowned, Yellow, B&W, 1-N.Waterthrush, lots of Ovenbirds. 1-BlueHeaded 
Vireo. Lots of Swainson Thrushes. Caspian Tern, 6 swallows, 7 woodpeckers. 
Sparrows weak.

Afternoon: 15+ people caravan to the AvonHillsSNA (south)-Osprey on platform 
nest (SchumenLkRd), Broad-winged Hawk-nest building, Cooper's Hawk (on nest), 
2-Gray-cheeked Thrushes. Again, warblers were near non-existent.  No Cerulean.

AlbanyWastewater ponds: weak on shorebirds-Least, Yellowlegs, W.Phalaropes. 
Ruddy,Lesser Scaup, still present.  Yellow-headed Blackbird, Bobolinks, group 
enjoyed watching the two eaglets being fed in the nest.  mjb
