Hello:

I headed to the bog this morning to play around with my new camera and also see
what birds are around. Here are my sightings.

-Upland Sandpiper along the Arkola Rd & Stickney Rd intersection fields.
-Connecticut Warblers ( heard only ) 3 males on the Admiral Rd at the winter
bird site ( for those who I know what that means ) but for those that do not
its about 3.0 miles north of the Sax Rd on Admiral Rd. A male singing on the
McDavitt Rd about 3.5 miles north of the Sax Rd ( CR 28 ).
-Mourning Warblers: I heard and saw about 10 Mourning Warblers along the Lake
Nichols Rd ( CR 232 )
-Gray Jays along the Admiral Rd with young.

* Met a few out state birders and a MN birder in the bog. I got a second hand
report a Great Gray Owl was seen along the McDavitt Rd Friday morning about 3.0
miles north of the Sax Rd (CR 28).

* Did not hear one single LeConte's Sparrow in areas where I heard them in the
past.
