I will be leading a MRVAC field trip this Sunday at Miesville Ravine Park,
which is one of the least birded County Parks in the Metro Area. We will meet
at this Dakota County Park at 6:30am. Some of the birds that have been found
here in the early summer include both Cuckoos, Ruffed Grouse, Scarlet Tanager,
Cerulean Warbler (unlikely), Blue-winged Warbler, and Acadian Flycatcher.
Bring water, snacks, hat and bug spray. As with all of MRVAC field trips in
the metro area, the trip is free and open to all. There is no need to call
ahead for reservations.

Directions: Take Hwy. 52 to Dakota Hwy. 50 east to Miesville; at Miesville take
CR 91 south (right), keep left at the fork, and continue until it T's at 280th.
Turn east (left) and follow the road down into the ravine. We will meet to
the left at the north parking area.
