The shorebird migration is starting to pick up at the Sleepy Eye sewage ponds
over the past few days. Today there were: 1 Baird's, 2 Pectoral; 2
Semipalmated and 11 Least Sandpipers; 2 Lesser Yellowlegs and 2 Wilson's
Phalaropes. Not big numbers but still, it's nice to see some migration again.

Good birding,

Brian Smith
Sleepy Eye
