Ramsey County

Spent about 2 hours checking for shorebirds in Ramsey county today, with
limited success. Here are the results:
@Killdeer
@Lesser Yellowlegs

Snail Lake Regional Park - Grass Lake - This is the location where a
Buff-breasted Sandpiper had been observed. - This area is almost completely
dry, with only a few small muddy areas. I observed no shorebirds here today.

Birch Lake - There are a few areas along the shoreline of this small lake that
may attract shorebirds, but none were present today.

Otter Lake - No Mud flats. Pelican present on the North end, in Anoka county.

Bald Eagle Lake - No mud flats.

White Bear Lake - There is still plenty of habitat for shorebirds here, with
about 15 Killdeer present. But the only other shorebirds, I located. Were two
Lesser Yellowlegs, observed just South of the Bridge to the Island.

Vadnais Lake - Small mud flat in the SW corner of the lake, with about 30
Double-crested Cormorants. But there were no shorebirds today.

Island Lake - Nice shoreline, with mud and rocky places for shorebirds. But no
shorebirds were present today.
