This afternoon I saw two Buff-breasted Sandpipers with a large flock of Killdeer along Aitkin County Road 1, 0.9 mile north of CR 55. There was also a Western Kingbird at the dead end of CR 55, 0.7 mile northeast of CR 1. This area is about 4 miles north of the town of Aitkin.
