This afternoon (August 23) I ran into Bruce Fall at Jirik Sod Farms, plowed
field on Blaine, South of 200th St. (Cty 66). ?While scanning the back of the
field for plovers (which turned into American Golden Plovers as they moved
closer to our position), Bruce found a single Buff-breasted Sandpiper that had
snuck in to the water close to the road. ?There were also Least and Pectoral
SPs, and a Semipalmated Plover. ?A Western Meadowlark serenaded us with an
occasional song.

At Scharr's Bluff and the Archery Range (Spring Lake Park) there were a few
migrants, but in very low numbers:

1 Canada Warbler

1 Blackburnian Warbler

2 Nashville Warblers

1 Tennessee Warbler

Several Black-and-white Warblers
