This morning at 8:00 I found a small, white, green-legged egret or heron on
Turtle Lake. The loral area looked yellowish-green. The bill was grayish.
When it raised its wings I thought I saw some duskiness to its wingtips, but
perhaps those were shadows. I did not see any black stripes on its legs.

The bird spent time on the park's beach as well as around the grassy island
across from the beach. Any help would be appreciated.

Turtle Lake Park is on Hodgon Rd. across from Chippewa Middle School.

Thank you,

Erik Collins
