Warbler ID update:
There have been over 400 photo views as of today. Current results:

    Pine Warbler: 4
    Blackpoll: 4
    Baybreasted: 8
    Other: 1

Perhaps the best solution is to call this bird the "Pine Baypoll!" There
are convincing opinions for each different bird.

There have been over 300 views of the warbler photos I posted on Flickr.
A small per centage has expressed an opinion on what the bird is. So far it
breaks down like this:

      Pine Warbler: 2
      Blackpoll: 3
      Baybreasted: 7
      Other: 1

Points mentioned have been leg color, streaks/no streaks on back, face
markings, breast color. One person mentioned habitat as being wrong for a
pine warbler. It may not be clear in the photo due to cropping but the bird
is sitting in a big pine tree and I have heard that pine warblers nest at
Lake Vadnais although I have not seen one there previously. (I have talked
to other birders who have, though.)

I am on the fence between pine and baybreasted but I don't think it is a
blackpoll. The baybreasted is my nemesis bird so either one would be nice
for me.

I will posted further updates if needed and will keep track of any
additional opinions. Thanks to everyone who weighed in! A lot to think
about.

  Gail
