This afternoon I scanned around Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, Hennepin County looking for signs of migration. Pied-billed Grebe migration was evident with 167 totals for both lakes. On Lake Harriet there was also a Red-necked Grebe mixed in with one of the larger flocks.
