Totally outrageous hour and a half of birdie heaven right outside my office window! Saw good numbers of each species listed and there were many more that would have only been wild guesses - the warblers I thought I saw were tough enough. Took tons of pictures to analyze for other species or give up on. (By the way - I am so willing to be totally wrong on all of the warblers as fall IDs for them are not my special talent.)

Here's the list:

Rose-Breasted Grosbeak
Swainson's Thrush
Hermit Thrush (one - got to see sidexside comparisons - awesome!)
Robin
Tennessee Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Canada Warbler
American Redstart
Ruby-Crowned Kinglet
Nashville Warbler
Orange-Crowned Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Scarlet Tanager ♀ (yahooo! a long bath and everything- got some picks with a handful of warblers along the edge of the pool as the tanager bathed - looked like servants)
Blue Jays
Brown Creeper

Other possibly associated with the wave but were present after a long absence:
Downy Woodpecker
Hairy Woodpecker
White-Breasted Nuthatch

And of course my chickadees.

As usual - when they were gone - they were gone. Am still having sporadic waves but not like that big one.
