Estate sale find !! A top quality pair of Carl Zeiss binoculars with the
original leather case. .. Marked CARL ZEISS , JENA ,
DELTRINTEM 8 X 30 , GERMANY ..
They measure approx 6 X 4 1/4 INCH .. Date before 1950 and maybe in the mid
1920s. Condition is excellent for used vintage gear!
Small amount or paint loss ("brassing") on the edges. Leatherette covering is
in good shape. Crisp clear image. Focus is smooth and
works fine. No fungus on lenses. A relatively small size that is excellent for
bird watching.
Prestigious and functional pair of top-quality binoculars!
