If any of you see an immature redtail with leather hanging from one leg and a large bell on each "ankle" it would be GREATLY appreciated if you could post it asap (and/or email me personally at [email protected]). It was last seen in the vicinity of 11th Ave and 66th St in Richfield. The Minnesota Falconer's Association is attempting to find and trap this bird so we can remove the equipment. We do not know who's bird it was and strongly suspect the bird was illegally taken since no one has come forward and reported a bird missing. Usually when a falconer loses a bird the club and Raptor Center are informed in the hopes of locating the bird.
