Hello,There were flocks of White winged crossbills eating sand from North
Tischer road, north of Duluth. Unfortunately, when I drove the road later in
the day, I found many had been hit by cars. Please remember to slow down on
snowy roads that have been sanded. Those lumps in the road may be
crossbills.This was on the 3 mile section of North Tischer north of
Lismore/Zimmerman in Normanna township.Molly ThompsonDuluth
