Nobody has mentioned the Duluth Wastewater Treatment Plant on 27th Street in
the past few weeks as a place to find interesting gulls.

Late this morning there was a very nice mixture as follows:

Great-Black-backed Gull - adult
Glaucous Gulls -3 subadults
Iceland Gull - 1 subadult
among the numerous Herring Gulls and overwintering waterfowl

Easiest access is to the right from the sewage plant and cross the woods before
you get to the gate at the end of the road by the auction parking area. Not a
good place for early in the AM as you are looking sort of east.
