I have been working at Bayfront park on and off for the past weeks. I have been
putting out some cracked corn and sunflower seed on the ground on the aquarium
side of the small bldg with glass garage doors, "family center". A chipmunk
has found it and it is depleted most mornings, but the birds have found it too.
Harris's, white -crowned, song, white -throated, juncos chickadees, r.b.
nuthatch all have been seen there. Just in case you are down there looking for
birds.
Also in the parking lot - the large gravel lot and skating rink areas -
Lapland longspurs, Horned Larks and American Pipits.
In the bowl area by stage on grass no fewer than 8 cackling geese this AM of
possibly two races.
Also there is a large puddle in the parking lot that has had few shorebirds too.

FYI

Regards
Don Kienholz
