Today was my last day of the season being a count interpreter at Hawk Ridge.
I had such a fun time! I wanted to share with you a few photos from today...
one of the biggest treats of the season (like icing on the cake) was seeing
both a juvenile ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK and juvenile NORTHERN GOSHAWK in the
hands! Both birds were just spectacular. I hope you enjoy the photos!

We had a good flight of Bald Eagles, Red-tailed Hawks, Rough-legged Hawks,
and Golden Eagles today! One of the most unusual birds was an OSPREY flying
by.
