Many people have asked if we have a screech owl roosting in our wood duck box again this winter. So far this season we have not seen one. Last week there was a big mob of chickadees, blue jays and cardinals giving alarm calls and checking the box by looking in the hole. By the time I got to the TV there was nothing in the box. Perhaps an owl was there and flew away while I was going downstairs.
