This evening I came out the front door of my house and saw a small owl fly by. One more went by in pursuit. I saw where they landed and found 2 Eastern Screech-owl. The one closest to me was doing the whinny call to the one perched higher up in the tree. I am guessing one of the owls is the one I photographed earlier this year. Both were gray-phase.
