Hello,
My name is Matt Stenger I am currently doing an ABA North American Big
Year. Currently I am torn between coming to Deluth to look for owls
(specifically, Boreal, Northern Hawk and Great Gray and any others of
course) wintering finches and perhaps a Gyrfalcon or chasing a few old
reports of some rareties in Florida. Is mid Feb around the time of the
birding festival the best time to come up or would now be better bet?
I am traveling for the year, living out of my car as I have no budget
for lodging and very little more for food. I hope to prove that even
an average guy with limited resources can achieve an ABA big year on a
fist full of spare change and a dream.

You can contact me at [email protected]
Also you can check out my blog at www.716birds.com
Thanks for any assistance you are able to offer
Matt Stenger
