We spent three nights at Gunflint Lodge this past weekend. Highlights of our weekend included a single GRAY JAY, 28 PINE GROSBEAKS and a single male COMMON REDPOLL (and the more numerous BC Chickadee and a few Bkue Jays). On our way home, we had a NORTHERN SHRIKE just north of the Lester River bridge along 61. Good birding! Jim & Kayce Solum Gurnee, Illinois
