Hi everyone, I'm new to the list. I just got into bird photography and birding this past year, and am quite hooked. Currently up to 6 feeders and a heated bird bath. I'm a Catholic priest in Chanhassen, and whenever I get downtime try to get out with my camera. I've never been to the Wilkie Unit and am considering going there tomorrow afternoon for a couple of hours after hitting Bloomington. Any suggestions would be appreciated as to where to go once I'm there. I also am spending a lot of time lately along Black Dog Road, and there is a stretch of road along the river, and two lots. For those that enjoy visiting that area, beyond the second lot is there anything worth seeing on a hike or is my best bet to just stay in that same area? I have seen several young eagles down there, along with common mergansers and goldeneyes. Hoping to go to Sax- Zim in a couple of weeks.
