Was out guiding a birder from Virginia.
Sax-Zim Bog Highlights:
* Great Gray Owl
* Northern Hawk Owl ( 2 )
* Sharp-tailed Grouse ( 9 ) along the RR tracks along CR 7 roughly a
mile north
of 52/Arkola Rd.
* Hoary Redpoll ( classic male hanging out at the Morse's feeders on
the Blue
Spruce Rd. This is one of two males originally spotted by Chris West and Alex
Stark of WI during the Sax-Zim Festival that are still coming to this feeder
)All the regulars were seen in the bog including Boreal Chickadee at the
Admiral
Rd feeders.
