In Washington County, MN, this morning, saw 100+ sandhill cranes flying in
three flocks in SW direction, and saw 2 great blue herons flying northward.
A question: my daughter living in Capitol Hill, DC, wants to attract birds.
Someone dissuaded her from hanging a feeder because "it'll attract rats" so
she's asking about bird houses. Any comments?
Thanks.
Mary
