By the way, at the Lake Byllesby dam (Goodhue Co.), Erika and I also listed
a Common Loon and a Red-breasted Merganser.

Hi All--

Erika and I do not visit Cannon Falls all that often. Nevertheless,
yesterday, for the second time in several years we observed a Bald Eagle in
one of the large cottonwoods in the city park. We suppose they may well be
regular there. We got close looks and photographs, which I have posted on my
blog: http://dantallmansbirdblog.blogspot.com

Finally a few migrants in the yard this morning here in Northfield: one
Eastern Phoebe, several Golden-crowned Kinglets, a single Brown Creeper.
