At 7:30AM Tuesday Morning, I was able to refind the White-winged Scoter in the
same farm pond on the south side of County Road 16, several miles south of
Preston. Also present were two Lesser Scaup with which it was cavorting,
several Wood Ducks, Canada Geese and Killdeer. Unfortunately the falling snow
made good looks somewhat difficult, but the pond is so close to the road that
finding the bird was not difficult.
