There was a single Red-Necked Grebe on the smaller west lake around 11:00 a.m. today. We got good views from the road that runs between the lakes, it was just beyond the sharp curve to the right (by the huge cottonwood). Saw a single loon and not much else but the grebe was a day brightener!
