Few notes for those attending Saturdays' MOU Sherburne Refuge Field Trip (registration closed):
1) Bring footwear that you're comfortable getting wet in, trails are a little damp in a few spots. 2) For those attending the optional afternoon session, please bring a lunch (this is new). We will probably eat together after the Auto Tour portion of the trip before heading north to Mille Lacs Lake and Kathio State Park. 3) Again, for those attending the afternoon session, make sure you either have a state sticker or purchase one when we get there. 4) If it's raining lightly, we are likely to still hold the trip. In case of strong inclement weather, we will probably cancel. Weather predictions have gone back & forth this week; it is supposed to be cooler than initially anticipated (50's). 5) Please arrive by 7:15 at Mahnomen Trail (on Sherburne CR 9) if at all possible.
