Forgot to mention that I saw 3 possibly wild turkeys in Sax Zim Bog and took photos of them as they trotted across CR 229. They were in seen foraging a 1/2 mile south of Correction Line Rd on the west pasture and then moved eastward into the east pasture as we approached them. They were very skittish of of my car as I slowly moved towards them. I know its possible they were released in the area but there are sightings coming from Carlton Co. and Pine Co. So it could be possible that there could be a small number of Wild Turkeys moving into the pasture/decidous habitats of SW St. Louis County.
