Thanks to everyone who submitted ideas, thoughts, links to check out! To further complicate matters, my house was struck by lightning Friday night, frying my computer, and my work computer fire wall prevents me from accessing some of the sites provided.
Having said that, I do not feel so bad now, since NONE of the birds I have looked at match the two I saw on Saturday morning. Some of the facial and neck features of Egypian goose fit, but not others. For over-all best fit, I would have to go with bar headed goose, but again, it is not a match, just closer. None of the hybrid waterfowl I've seen fit either. Because most of us are referencing wild species, this adds further fuel to the speculation they are escaped domestic birds (that fly really well). Lastly to answer the question in the minds of many respondents....no, I was not drinking the night prior to the sighting:) I will only update again if a match is found.
