I birded for 25 years in the Seattle/Tacoma area and here in Minnesota for 3 years and have seen a bar-headed geese quite a few times in Puget Sound. Mr. Frederickson's description of the Mystery Geese doesn't match the the birds I saw. I do think he's correct in assuming that they are escaped domestic geese. I also think they could possibly be hybrids of Canada Geese.
