We were at Cory Lake a couple of weeks ago and the water levels then were not low. No mud flats were present at that time. A little muddy corner was occupied by pelicans and mallards.

Subject: [mou-net] Cory Lake water levels

Cory Lake (located 6 miles south and one east of Madison) was a fantastic
shorebird location due to draining and pumping by the DNR last year. This year
heavy rain fall has made this a bigger challenge and now with the "state
shutdown" the pumping has been stopped. Time will tell if this location is going
to be suitable for shorebirds this year.
