This afternoon at 3:30 a flock of Nighthawks was foraging low over
Dennison Boulevard (246) just south of Northfield, on the last
east-west stretch before the road curves north toward town. Crossing
over the road repeatedly, they offered clear looks at the signature
"windows" in their wings, despite the gathering clouds and light
rain-shower. The open moon-roof gave a definite advantage in viewing.
