When I got to work this morning at 6:15 or so, there were white-throated,
white-crowned and fox sparrows, along with juncos singing from around the
headquarters building.  Was fun to hear, and see them back - until early
afternoon when a young sharp-shinned hawk showed up - and they all disappeared
for the rest of the day.

This afternoon there was a small flock of warblers around the building, mostly
yellow-rumped, but also orange-crowned, Nashville, Tennessee and one blackpoll.

There was a lone snow goose reported from Big Bluestem Pool on the auto tour by
a roving interpreter this afternoon.  I didn't have time to get out to look for
it, but will try tomorrow.
