There was a Snow Goose at the Big Bluestem pond this afternoon. It was sitting
on a very large muskrat lodge not too far from the road.

Also:

Along the auto tour route – mixed flock including 15 to 20 E. Bluebirds, 10 –
15 Yellow-rumped Warblers, maybe 5 Palm Warblers, and a couple others we could
not see long enough to ID.

Blue Hill trail - Many juncos and White-throated Sparrows, 1 Field Sparrow, 1
White-crowned Sparrow, 1 Harris’s Sparrow, a couple Chipping Sparrows, 1 Fox
Sparrow, 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet

and a lot of gnats. Not complaining as it was due to the warm weather –
spectacular day. But oof – it is dry!
