After two days of a terrific 2011 Sparrow Workshop in around Millback, SD, we headed to Big Stone NWR this morning (10/9, 0945-1130) where highlights were:
- Swainson's Hawk (3)--2 in kettle with TuVu on northside of Mnnesota River, a second was seen above the loop trail. - Solitary Sandpiper (2) in Minnesota River where bridge crosses - Wlison's Snipe (5) After Big Stone, I birded Salt Lake, Lac qui Parle County (1355-1525) which was extremely birdy with the following highlights: - Greater White-fronted Goose (71) - American Golden-Plover (13) - Greater Yellowlegs (3) Looking up, Alex Cruz St Paul, Ramsey Co ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
