I suppose I should have better clarified that I am an avid owl watcher and I am looking for something that I can use not only when I walk my dogs at night, but a flashlight that will throw a long, focused beam (spot) as opposed to a broad beam (flood). Ideally it would have additional colors as options, like red and green, but not a must. I have a large spot light and while it works great, it's awkward to carry. I also have several relatively useless flashlights that I use when I walk my dogs at night, but I would love to pitch these and just have one that I can use, as we have lots of wooded areas I walk my dogs around in the evening. I will certainly take a look at the suggestions provided thus far, but I am open to more now that I have done a better job with the specifics.
