I have been experiencing problems with my e-mail account since it was dropped and then revived in the process of changing internet providers this fall. Yesterday, around 2:00, I observed a Great Black-backed Gull (probable 2nd-cycle) swimming and preening on Lake Pepin. It was near Roschen Park at the east end of Lake City.
