2012 BRRRRDathon/Photothon Update!
World's Coldest Birdathon (all of NE MN and NW WI) After Diana Doyle's pioneering 14-mile (!) "stroll" during last January's BRRRRDathon, we've decided to add the "Winter Green" category. The Winter Green category is the non-motorized "green" event. Participants (teams of 1 to 5) MUST travel only using non-motorized travel (foot, bicycle, ski, snowshoe, dogsled, horse, or use public transportation) in one continuous journey. You CANNOT walk, get in the car, drive, walk, get in the car, etc. Prizes are yet to be determined....but I'm sure they'll be fun. This is a serious bragging-rights category. Are you crazy enough? Just register online ( www.saxzim.org/brrrrdathon ) for either the 1-day or 2-day BRRRRDathon and let us know by email if you plan on doing the Winter Green non-motorized category.
