hi brian--ok, thanks. I just read the post of judd who gives add'l. details as
to accessing the swans and he identifies them as trumpeter swans-that jogged my
memory and I believe he is correct and that my memory is faulty in thinking the
prior message was about tundra swans. I've decided today is a bit brisk for my
outing and will wait for a warmer day.

Yeah, I couldn't find a spot where I could actually see the water. Plz let me
know if you can confirm Tundra Swans.

  Thanks!!

    hi B-thanks for replying.

I believe the post said tundra swans. when you say vantage point, do you
mean for photos or just generally to view them?

A post from valerie just came in as I'm typing this-perhaps your reference
to vantage point is what valerie is referring to ...

      What type of swans, Jim?

I've been to that lake but could never find a good enough vantage point.

hi to the group-saw a post here about a month ago that a flock of about 40
swans had taken up residency at sucker lake. it's such a nice day today I was
thinking of driving over there and trying to grab some photos. does anyone
know if they are still there? if so, is it easy to spot them ... what side of
the lake do they tend to inhabit (I haven't been to sucker lake)??thanks in
advance for any info.jim----Join or Leave mou-net:
