There wasn't much movement this morning with only 1 migrating flock of 30 
Canada Geese.    The only other geese were just the Canada that had stoped at 
any ponds or lakes in the area.  Other waterfowl today include Trumpeter Swan, 
12 Tundra Swan taking off from open water of Rapids Lake early this morning 
calling, Wood Duck, American Wigeon, Mallard, Northern Shoveler, Northern 
Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Greater Scaup, Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, Hooded 
Merganser, and Common Merganser.  A Herring Gull was at Assumption Lake and 
more Ring-billed were in the area.   The Yellow-rumped Warbler are still around 
Rapids Lake with 3 found today.  Other arrivals today included 4 Fox Sparrow 
atop the bluff at Rapids Lake MVNWR, 5 singing Eastern Meadowlark also at 
Rapids Lake, and 11 Brewer's Blackbird along Salem Ave.
