Birded at Hyland Park Reserve this afternoon. It was a bit quiet being a mid-afternoon and a bit windy but did have some success hearing Sedge Wrens, Clay-colored Sparrows, and seeing some Field Sparrows.
But while walking I also heard a song I didn't recognize. I wasn't able to identify the song and I never located the bird. But I did record a video that has the song. It is near the end of the 16 second video, and as heard in the video is a series of songs 6-7 at a lower tone and 6-7 at a higher tone. I couldn't find a bird that sounded like this and its not one in my memory bank, so if anybody has any idea and could help me out that would be awesome. http://youtu.be/M5NLZrG6pns Also, the full checklist of what was seen/heard. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S10959328 Thanks, Ben Harste Bloomington, MN ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
