To add to comments of Chris and others, here is a bit more information on eBird and the MOU Seasonal Reports database. Data from the MOU database are not uploaded into eBird because they generally are in a form that isn't useful to eBird--i.e., sightings entered at the level of county and not at specific localities. eBird's most useful data come from complete checklists (where all species detected are recorded), with numbers of individuals of each species counted or estimated, from a specific locality (e.g., Old Cedar Ave. Bridge) and for a given effort (start time and duration, distance traveled). However, checklist data from eBird are uploaded into the MOU Seasonal Reports database by Dave Cahlander a few weeks after the end of each season so these do become a part of the MOU permanent record and for the past year or so have been used in compilation of the Seasonal Reports summaries in The Loon. This is possible because eBird checklist localities can be mapped to a particular county, and this is how they appear in the MOU database.
