Sorry for the late report: This past Monday, Craig Mandel's MRVAC birding group briefly observed a LEAST BITTERN off of the Old Cedar Avenue Bridge observation dock. It flew out of the reeds for a few seconds before ducking back into the cattails, never to be seen again. A probable WILLOW FLYCATCHER was heard giving the "wit" call near the dock. 2 SWAINSON'S THRUSH were seen from the parking lot as well.
The group also got great looks at MARSH WREN, SORA (~3-4 birds), and VIRGINIA RAIL (1-2 birds). Good birding, Alyssa DeRubeis now back in Wisconsin again ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
