This morning I visited Park Point (lake-side of the airport area) at
sunrise, before going to work at Hawk Ridge for the day. It was a pretty
quiet morning... one flyby Common Merganser, a distant unidentified loon,
White-throated Sparrows, and a single American Tree Sparrow.

When I returned from work today, in my front yard I tallied 26 FOX
SPARROWS, six Dark-eyed Juncos and one White-throated Sparrow. Seeing so
many Fox Sparrows this afternoon reminded me of the Fox Sparrow fallout
that occurred two spring-season's ago. They are so much fun to watch!

Good birding,
